The warm light between 4:30 and 6 PM is when Jerome looks exactly like the photographs that made you want to visit.

The Spirit Room at the Connor Hotel is the best end to a day in Jerome. At 5:30 PM on weekdays, it's quiet and unhurried — cold drinks, the original bar, and the beginning of the evening shift when Jerome stops being a day-trip destination and becomes itself again. Live music starts at 8 PM on weekends if you want to stay.

Then walk the town after dark.
